The same shofar that blew the moment Jesus died…
Sounded again last night.
As the first stars appeared in the sky, it marked the beginning of Shabbat—the Sabbath day.
A day of rest.
But for Jesus’ followers…
There was no rest.
The shofar’s call reminded them:
His body was still lifeless.
The One they had followed… was gone.
Wasn’t there another way?
What did this mean?
Did this mean… He wasn’t the Messiah?
Hope was crushed.
Confusion ran deep.
Rest felt impossible.
