We're planting seeds for the future.
One of the most important things we do as a community of believers is to disciple the next generation to be wholehearted followers of Jesus, who love His Word and walk by His Spirit. That's exactly what KidsCity is about. Each Sunday, kids ages 0-10 get to be loved and cared for by our team of volunteers while learning about Jesus and experiencing God's presence. Our prayer is that the seeds planted in these moments will grow deep roots in the hearts and minds of our kids and will bear lasting fruit for the Kingdom of God, both in our city and around the world.
what to expect on A sunday
Check-In
KidsCity check-in is located on the 1st floor in the Family Room and opens 15 minutes before service begins. Be sure to keep your security label, you must have this to pick your kids up after service!
Drop Off
If it's your first time, a volunteer will show you to your child's classroom! You'll place one sticker on your child, hand one sticker to the volunteer who will greet you at the classroom door, and you'll keep the security label.
Play Time
Kids will start off with open play time! Each classroom has toys and activities that are age appropriate and encourage curiosity and exploration. Each volunteer looks for opportunities to make spritutal conversations and connections while they play together.
Snack
In our 2+ year-old kids classrooms, we enjoy water and a snack. City Church provides Goodie Girl animal crackers, which are allergy-friendly, and water. Everything is better with a snack!
Learning
We pray, worship, and explore a Bible story together using content from The Gospel Project. Kids get to share prayer requests and we invite God to move, creating space for kids to respond to what they're learning and experiencing.
Pick Up
After service, bring your security label with you to pick up your children at the room location where you dropped them off. Kids get to pick a lollipop on their way out!
Our check in station is located on the 1st floor in the Family Room. If you're planning to visit for the first time, you can pre-register your kids to make Sunday morning check-in a breeze!
