Sunday SERVICES

PRAYER AT 8AM
SERVICES AT 9AM AND 11AM

We'd love for you to experience a Sunday morning at City Church OTR.

If you’ve been around church before, a lot will look familiar. And if you haven’t, we think you’ll like it.

We are located in a historic church building originally occupied by Philippus Church for over 130 years. It resides on the northern edge of OTR, just steps from Findlay Market, which means there's plenty to do before and after our services.
When you arrive, feel free to pick up a free cup of coffee downstairs in our gathering space known as "The Family Room" before you head upstairs to the sanctuary! If you're not sure where to go, check out the Connect Table or look for any of our hospitality team members wearing black lanyards. They'd love to meet you and help you feel more at home.
We are passionate about creating a space for kids to have fun, make friends, and get to know Jesus. That's what Kids City is all about. If you're bringing kiddos with you, you can pre-register them prior to your visit to make check-in a breeze. KidsCity check-in is located downstairs in the Family Room and one of our staff or volunteers can help show you to your child's room from there.
Our first service starts at 9 AM, but we gather at 8AM to pray, for anyone who is interested in joining. We pray over the global Church, our city, our services, and spend time inviting the Lord to come and be present with us. Sunday morning prayer is a sweet time to prepare our hearts to engage with God.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Where can I park?
There are several parking options near City Church OTR.

On Sundays, all street parking is free (until 2PM), and is available along McMicken Avenue, Ohio Avenue and along Race Street. You can also park up on Clifton Avenue and take the stairs down to Ohio Avenue directly next to the church. (Enter 99 W. Clifton Ave in your GPS to navigate to the top of the stairs.)

There are several additional options in parking lots nearby that we rent for Sunday mornings. You can park in these locations until 1PM on Sundays, so if you're sticking around downtown for brunch after service, make sure you move your car to another location! What should I wear?
Our worship services are always focused on authentic connection with God and with others. Feel free to dress in a way that makes you feel most comfortable.
What is a City Church OTR worship service like?
Each of our worship services are a little different, but there are some core elements you can expect to experience at each gathering. You’ll have the opportunity to worship God through singing and prayer and to hear teaching rooted in the Christian scriptures. We also trust that you'll meet some very kind and interesting people.
How long does a service last?
Our worship services are designed to be about 75 minutes long.
What if I'm bringing kids?
We're glad to hear it! KidsCity is available for kids ages 0-10 - a space just for them to learn and experience God. You can find more info about what to expect for your kids on the KidsCity page!
If you still have questions at all about our worship services, don't hesitate to reach out. One of our staff members would be happy to follow up with an answer!
