City CHurch OTR Snow day!

Although we can't be together in person, we still have the opportunity to spend time with the Lord today in our homes. We hope these elements provide you with around 45 minutes of guided time with the Lord. Below you will find four parts, designed to be engaged in this order:
A liturgy to read
A short video message from Chris to watch
Two questions to use for journaling, reflection, or discussion
And a playlist of songs to spend some time in worship

We invite you to engage with the Lord during this forced pause in your schedule. We pray you encounter God's presence today and that you're reminded that He goes where He's wanted - whether gathered together in a sanctuary or cozied up in the living room of your home.

Stay warm today and we'll see you in House Groups and the Prayer Room this week!

Wild Faith: Entering the Final Week

Centering Moment:
Take a few moments to sit quietly. Breathe deeply, slowly, and joyfully. Welcome the Holy Spirit into your home: repeat “Come, Holy Spirit.”

Pray:
As we enter the final week of these 21 days of prayer and fasting, we remember why we began.

Not to prove our strength,
but to deepen our hunger, our dependence, our faith in God.

Some of us are tired.
Some of us are still waiting.
Some of us are wondering if anything has changed.

Some of us are on the brink of breakthrough.
Some of us are seeing God’s faithfulness in action.

No matter where we are, the wilderness is not empty or wasted.
It is holy ground.

We may not see the fruit yet,
but we trust the process.
We trust the God who meets His people in the quiet,
who speaks in the stillness,
and who brings life out of barren places.

As we step into this final week,
we choose to stay attentive,
to remain surrendered,
and to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus—
the One who meets us here and leads us forward.

Let this last week not be about finishing in our own strength,
but about leaning fully into God’s presence.
Let hunger turn into hope.
Let weakness become worship.

God, meet us here.
Finish what You’ve started.
Prepare us for what’s ahead.
Amen.

Reflect or Discuss

1. How can you leverage today, a day of solitude, for strength?

2. What would it look like for you to approach your next “eremos” season the way Jesus approached His?
